I found this article in the Penman’s Art Journal, September 1886 where Professor Toland was smack-talking oblique holders. Boy, you can see him laying it on!

And then three months later Mr. Russell had to bring him down a peg or two. Ooooh the burn!

This one is called the Ribbon script. I wrote it with the new iridescent black ink, and it is quite funny in the light.
