Yellow ampad legal pad

Walnut ink on the humble yellow legal pad by Ampad. I am often asked what is the best paper to use, in which I reply the Rhodia or Clairefontaine, but they are expensive and a little difficult to find. Usually papers these days are made pretty well and is usable. Unless you’ve been buying the crappiest Walmart pulp paper, and as long as it doesn’t bleed TOO much or starts tearing, and assuming the ink used is good, pretty much any paper lying around is suitable for practice.
