Decorative airmail envelopes

IMG_7322

I found these decorative envelopes in a scrapbook store, and they are so cute. I brought one to a post office but the postal worker were not impressed by them (but when are they ever?)… she said that these are hard to read (well they say that about everything) and the ‘express mail’ and use of finger pointing stamp designs are misleading. I told her that these are obviously not official USPS envelopes and no one would ever mistake them for one, and she reluctantly accepted them. Sheesh.

Hahah. My only complaint about the USPS is that their employees just are not on the same page. Those envelopes are lovely, and I’m surprised you had such trouble sending them out!
